Welcome to the Fayetteville State University Fifth Year Interim Report for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).
Fayetteville State University is a constituent institution of the University of North Carolina and the second-oldest public institution of higher education in the state. The university serves a student body of over 6,000 students and ranks among the nation’s most diverse campus communities.
The report contains four parts detailing the manner in which Fayetteville State University uses data to make evidence-based decisions for improvement of programs and services.

The SACS Fifth Year Interim Report provides narratives and attachments as evidence of performance assessment in numerous areas, including faculty and administrative credentials, improvement of educational programs and student learning, physical facilities, curriculum, distance education, compliance with federal and state regulations, and compliance with Commission policy. In addition, the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) shares the outcomes of Making Evidence-Based Decisions (MEBD), a series of professional development programs designed to develop analytical reasoning, critical thinking, and written communication skills.
